README.md (623B)
1 This is a WIP alternative Haskell prelude. The main differences with the 2 standard prelude are the following: 3 4 - More-principled abstractions 5 - Category-generic categorical abstractions (functors, monads, etc.) 6 - Algebraic abstractions (semigroups, monoids, groups, semirings, etc.) 7 - Order-theoretic abstractions (partial orders, total orders, lattices, etc.) 8 9 - Runtime memory representation-genericity 10 - "First-order" algebraic and order-theoretic abstractions 11 - Function combinators 12 13 - No name punning for good DataKinds support 14 15 - No implicitly-unsafe operations (e.g., List.head)
